PayPal Issue Impacts Payments

Some PayPal users had problems sending payments on Tuesday afternoon, while some said they also had problems logging in to the site. PayPal issued the following "Live Site Status Update":

Notification: We are experiencing a system issue which may be affecting PayPal APIs on the PayPal Live Site. Merchants may be encountering an elevated number of the following errors:

- 10001 - Internal Error
- HTTP 500 error for REST API calls

At this time, there is no alternative work-around.

Reports also came in on The problem may have cleared up at this point. Let us know if you had problems signing in to PayPal or making a payment, and if the problem is resolved for you now.

Update: Moments after posting, PayPal sent the following notice: This issue has been resolved as of Aug 16, 2016 04:30 PM EDT.

The payment issue may have been resolved, but every morning when I try to print out a label through MultiOrder Shipping I get one or more XML errors. Wish they could fix those.

The XML errors go away for me after banging down the enter key a few more times.   Eventually it surrenders and produces my label.
