(Fraud Abatement through Industry Response) will host a first one-day roundtable event, including a public forum for Q & A, in Los Angeles on April 23, 2009 at the Petersen Automotive Museum.

The goal of the first meeting is to build a united front against fraud and an effective framework for educating consumers and sharing best practices.

Oh yeah - ebay Motors is going to help with THAT!  Like they help with the phony Chanel, the phony LV, the phony Haskell, the phony Bakelite and more that some of their most loved sellers are purveying.  After all, eBay KNOWS that a greedy buyer looking to buy something special for less than half it's true, low wholesale value is what made them so very special and they want to protect the purveyors of those phony pieces of trash.  They make a ton more money off those people than they do off the ones who have to actually buy REAL designer merchandise to sell.  Yep, that's going to make a DIFFERENCE!

Yeah, right, like Pep Boys is truly interested in combating fraud when they are one of the biggest perpetrators of auto repair fraud!
