Partial Seller Dashboard Is Live for eBay PowerSellers

A reader wrote to me Friday to say the eBay Seller Dashboard is now live. However, according to Lorrie Norrington's announcement on Thursday, eBay is making only one module of the Dashboard available now - and only to PowerSellers.

"Back in January we announced the Seller Dashboard and I'm delighted to say that we are on track for our scheduled launch in May. By the end of the day today the discount module of the Seller Dashboard will be available for all PowerSellers. Because final value fee discounts for PowerSellers with eligible DSRs will begin appearing on sellers' invoices next month and our PowerSellers are eager to forecast and plan around their discount eligibility, we felt it was critical to release the discount module of the Seller Dashboard as soon as possible. You will see the Seller Dashboard discount module linked from your My eBay page. There you will find your 30-day rolling average DSR score and your PowerSeller discount eligibility."

According to eBay's January announcement, eBay will be rolling out the Seller Dashboard to all sellers in May, and it will include information about the seller's PowerSeller status; Account billing status; Final value fee discount qualification; Policy violations and risk of restriction; and Buyer satisfaction (based on feedback, DSRs and complaints). "You'll basically have the same view as customer support, so there should be no more complaints about not knowing where you stand at eBay," according to the announcement.

Why is the Dashboard so important? Because it gives sellers information about their performance, which affects how they will appear in search results under "Best Match," the new default-sort. Sellers will be demoted in Best Match if they have greater than a five percent Buyer Dissatisfaction Rate.

Once again "only for PowerSellers". Why can't they make the partial dashboard available to all?

'nuff said.

It appears from the dashboard view that my top 10% rating on S&H is also the minimum acceptable for the 15% discount.  Looks like another PR stunt by eBay that will benefit very few sellers.

The dashboard is still not working for us and a number of other people. For others it has been working fine and it does not matter what browser you use.

Not available in Canada yet.  So typical of Ebay to make grandiose announcements while ignoring their partners to the north.  *sigh*
