eBay Bans Blogger from Selling

By: Ina Steiner

eBay has prevented a blogger who writes frequently about eBay from selling in her home country. Sue Bailey outlined the incident on the Tamebay blog where she and another eBay seller, Chris Dawson, blog about online auctions.

What makes eBay blunders hurt is that many sellers say they can't contact eBay to straighten things out. Small entrepreneurs can ill afford to wait for eBay to fix problems that limit their sales. This has to be at least a little embarassing for eBay, but probably not enough to change their level of customer service.

Thanks for the link, Ina :-)
I'm lucky enough to have an account manager, so I was able to speak to someone eventually today. But the big problem with dealing with eBay issues like this is that the people you can speak to (AMs, Powerseller Support etc.) are frequently not the people who have the authority to do anything. So even though I have a very nice lady 'on the case' for me, I don't feel hopeful of it being resolved any time soon.

We hate ebay. Since when is NEUTRAL means Negative? Bad buyers hurt all sellers on ebay, but ebay LIKES THAT.
