Quiet but busy

I feel like I've been able to soak in all that's happened over the past week and start to make sense of it. I'm hearing from all sides, many perspectives, about the eBay Stores fee hike.

I want to get as much information out there as possible, and right now, I'm afraid I'm a bit of a bottleneck. Reading, talking, emailing - it all takes time, plus keeping up with all other news. So I will be writing more about the fee hikes soon.

We did manage to escape to go to an estate sale last weekend. Hopefully online sellers have better luck than we had on that excursion! It was way overpriced, and the postcard announcing the sale exaggerated the contents. Typical these days?

I personally am very disapointed by the fee hikes!

Why use ebay when you can make use of a free website? IMO offers many benefits that feebay doesn't. Best of all... IT'S FREE!

I was one of the original ebayer's and quit once due to ebay's policies and started again in early 2006.  My store at present is bringing in about 50-70% of my sales and I just cleaned out about 50% of my listings to adjust. I will wait and see.......... Regarding estate sales; I think it is getting too common to attend a highly promoted estate sale and wind up at a glorified yard sale with all the goodies long gone and the yard sale stuff over-priced.
