Yahoo Shopping - Buying Xmas Items Post 24th

Yahoo shopping released the following factoids:

"While a post-holiday, bargain-seeking shopping rush isn’t new, this year we saw something very interesting. During the week following Christmas (December 25-31), searches on Yahoo! Shopping for "Christmas trees" were up 170% over the week before the holiday. Searches for "Christmas tree" were up 100%, and searches for "Christmas decorations" were up 88%. Looks like there are more savvy shoppers out there, all of whom are utilizing online shopping to locate discounted items for the 2006 holiday."

Maybe those shoppers were savvy online sellers who will store the items and sell them next fall.
