eBay Drop-Off Store Featured in Movie

By: Ina Steiner

In case you missed it, a movie out last summer called "The 40 Year Old Virgin" featured a character that owned an eBay drop-off store (link to movie info). Steve Carell (of The Daily Show fame) co-wrote and starred in the flick, and played the perfect collector.

One factoid I had missed: the LA Business Journal said Encino-based Auction Boulevard was the store featured in the movie (link).

My friend Richard who owns the ISold-It store in Chatsworth, Calif. with his wife Helene (link) said the DVDs of The 40 Year Old Virgin include coupons for Isold-It stores. What a tie-in.
