Your Feedback Really Does Matter (USPS and eBay)

Two pieces of news. One, the USPS will NOT be discontinuing the USPS Shipping Assistant on January 5, 2006, as previously announced. Why? "Due to an overwhelming customer response from the marketplace" (link).

And two, eBay will not allow the listing of live pets after all. Why? Because of community sentiment (link).

While businesses are not democracies, they do - at least occasionally - listen to their customers. Let's hope common sense continues to prevail in the new year!
