Maybe Alex Jones can start a website to sell all this high dollar ''Black Americana''. I'm sure he'd also lift the leftist commie policy against calling any slightly used item ''vintage''. The level of racism, white supremacy and homophobia on this thread tops anything that I have ever seen on ecommercebytes.

I think the reason that we have political correctness in this country is because it is badly needed.

Your use of the word foisting is interesting. If you simply live and let live how is anyone foisting anything on you?  

When did obtaining virtue and high moral standards and emulating them become a bad thing? Somehow, in the last 20 years, a group of Americans emerged who think that it is wrong and chastise anyone who call folks out for forms of expression or actions that exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against.

I am quite perplexed by the notion in America that people who are empathetic towards others and want equality and fairness for others are perceived as "foisting" or called names like snowflakes.

Getting back to topic, I am guessing that Etsy had to make some tough choices, and remove some items that were deeply offensive to some.  They may have acted too broadly but I think that they meant well.

I and the Southern Poverty Law Center disagree with you. And with alt right Steve Bannon in the  White House, I expect that things will only get worse.  Take a look at actual statistics of the rise of hate crimes in this country since Trump took office. These are not made up figures. They come directly from the law enforcement of this country. The NRA's latest ad's call for white supremacy and armed insurrection are not made up either.  Watch the video.

The SPLC also labels Maajid Nawaz and Ayaan Hirsi Ali  as ''anti-Muslim extremists'' so they have lost much of their credibility. I see you fall into the Ctrl/Regressive Left camp so there is probably not much to engage here after all. Good luck with the 2018 midterm elections.
