In our town, the USPS does indeed do Amazon package deliveries on Sundays. Some posters on the Selling discussion board report receiving non-Amazon packages on Sunday as well. Apparently USPS is trying to reduce their Monday-morning load by piggybacking their own packages on their contracted Amazon deliveries.

Have never had that happen to me, but USPS tracking has been horrendous so you can't believe everything it shows. I actually had a couple of packages arrive one and 2 days EARLY when USPS was still showing it as 'in transit' and not anywhere near my city.
