Given notices this morning MC010 stating to change all passwords including passwords to your personal email accounts. The wait time to call them is 55 minutes. Anyone else?
I have 4 ebay IDs and had the message for each. Had to reset passwords for all 4. I spoke to a live person and she said it was an internal ebay thing and apologized. I'm in Virginia in the US.

Said they didn't mean to startle anyone and want you to change your password, but why your email password too??? Both accounts. Why change my email address?

eBay spokesperson Ryan Moore confirmed the issue - it impacted a small subset of users. While there's no evidence the customers had unauthorized activity on their accounts, they will still have to reset their passwords, he said. (Be sure not to fall for phishing scams, by the way.)
