As of yesterday afternoon, March 5th, search box results have been changed signficantly on Etsy. Established successful selling shops have disappeared from most search results using search box.
Sellers have requested Etsy admin respond indicating whether this is a "bug", a test, or a permanent unannounced change but they will NOT reply with any specific answer. The Bugs thread now has over 427 posts since yesterday afternoon without an acceptable answer from Etsy staff.
Shops which were previously unknown or extremely far back in search results have now taken over all pages of search.
