DESCRIPTION field totally blank.  Found one of our listings yesterday and called eBay about it.  They told me to clear cache, I did that and no change - Wasn't able to see our description.  Now a day later it has appeared again.

Today we are finding more listings that do not have any description.  So far we have located about 6 listings. We have 14,000 plus listing and to search them all not do-able.

If someone can actually find your listing, now eBay is blanking out your descriptions. Unreal

YES, I have several listings that are blank in the field below the item specifics!  I too cleared cached and nothing.  I use google chrome.  I saw some one else's listing last night too and it was the same thing!

This appears to be happening to newly-created listings. It has something to do with frames permissions. FireFox and Chrome display as blank. IE 8 and Opera 12 display an error message. The problem went away when I revised-- changed category and reentered item specifics.

This started last night and continues today. I tried the category change mentioned but it did not help. I had planned a busy weekend of listing. Now that seems like a waste of time.

Same here. Its random and I'm not going through 16,000 listings. I cleared cache changed description and still couldn't get it to work. I too was looking at other sellers listings and found some of theirs missing too. Not good for anyone. Waiting to hear a buyer say ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED due to this. Ebay stop with all the damn tests!!!

As a buyer, I have been noticing this for the last couple of days.  Today photos are missing from the gallery.  When I click on items I'm watching, it says the item has been removed or is not available.  Unreal.

Yes, I am a seller, but was attempting to make purchases yesterday & did not because the description was blank. So sad.

I see why sales are off more than usual this weekend.  Really disappointed in ebay this year!  I have 5000 listings and can't police ebay all the time.

Startling to see and very annoying. Descriptions are completely blank on some items and there is no easy way to find them.

Noticed the problem last night Nov. 9th and again this morning when I submitted a new item on Nov. 10th. I got 960 items getting ready to load and I do not have the time to manually go out and fix these if they do not load correctly.

I, too, had blank descriptions when relisting. I also had tried to relist items and it stated that they are duplicates. I searched my active items and none of them were active items. It keeps giving me the warning of the duplication policy.

Same here... everything below item specifics is totally blank. I have over 1,000 listings and checking each one isn't going to happen. It's a full-time job just dealing with all the b.s. that a seller has to deal with.

There is a huge Microsoft update scheduled for tomorrow updating Windows and Internet Explorer. I am wondering if they changed the programming in anticipation of this. You can open the "missing" frame in another tab/window, but don't think most buyers are going to go through the trouble doing so.

One of my searches returned a book I'd been looking for.  Seller is in UK, and clicking link in search email took me to ebay.uk (something that has NEVER happened that way before).  I wanted to put it on my Watch list, so copied the auction number and pasted it into an already open window signed in to eBay.com (US).  Description on eBay.uk was fine.  Description on eBay.com was blank.
