Issue: Ebay allowing buyers to escalate returns to cases before refund deadline - resulting in defects to sellers and immediate full refunds to buyers including all shipping. Customer Service is closed and the Seller Help portal is a joke.

It's an ongoing Ebay defect. CS will give you some gobbedlygook answer and how the buyer can do this anytime. Press them on it though and they will refund you for it, it's their screwup to let that happen.
