    Default Patents, Patents, Jewelry patents

Looking to find out more about your jewelry. Here's are great resource, compiled by Jim Katz containing patent information by company, truly going from A to Z:

    http://www.jewelrypatents.com/

He is working on a listing by designer/assignor further down on this page. This is a great resource to research and/or identify some of your pieces and get an idea when they were first produced. Remember that the patent date is not necessarily when they were produced. A design patented in, for example, 1940 may not have gone into production until 1945 and was still being produced in 1970 :o

I hope you find this helpful. :D
