Affiliates Get Access to Redesigned eBay Logo
By Ina Steiner
eBay recently undertook a major branding project that included a redesigned logo, and now affiliates who get paid to drive traffic to eBay are getting access to the new eBay logo.
The eBay Partner Network (ePN) rolled out three new layouts for its Custom Banner tool, including a simpler, sleeker design and the new eBay logo. Affiliates who wish to take advantage of the new Custom Banner layout, can access them through the ePN Portal under Tools > Widgets > Custom Banner.
The existing layouts (HTML, Scrollable HTML and Flash) cannot be updated to include the new logo and will not be available for the new version of Custom Banner, but existing versions will continue to work.
eBay told ePN members, "At some point next year we will migrate from the current layout to an updated version and will be soliciting feedback from our Publishers. We will keep you posted on this migration as we get a better idea of the timetable."
