UK firm eSellerPro has received a one-million-pound from Notion Capital, following Notion's initial investment of 1.8 million pounds in 2010. The funding will support the company's growth plans over the coming years, which include product development and accelerating momentum in its core business. In addition, the new funding will go towards geographic expansion, including the U.S. market.

eSellerPro is a multi-channel SaaS solution for retailers that includes support for eBay and Amazon. Clients include Tesco Outlet, Dixons, Royal Mail, BMW, JJB Sports, Maplins, Whirlpool and BT Outlet. The platform processed 233 million pounds in sales on behalf of its customers in 2011 and will soon move through the 1 million pounds per day threshold.

In related news, eSellerPro launched its mShop platform in December, which allows retailers to create simplified mobile websites. mShop is an extension of eSellerPro's existing product range and can be used either as a stand-alone solution or integrated with the website. A spokesperson said eSellerPro provide mShop to their clients for 995 pounds as a standalone solution. However if they order a gold site with mShop, the price for mShop drops to 495 pounds, she said.
