Lathi's role at eBay expanded to include "Buyer Experience" in 2009 in a reorganization after Stephanie Telenius left to head Google commerce and payments, and he acquired the title of Vice President of Buyer and Seller Experience. Lathi is joining another ex-eBayer at One Kings Lane, Greg Fant, who had headed marketing for eBay North America. Fant had been at eBay since 2000 and was responsible for eBay.com's holiday marketing - he announced his last holiday campaign for eBay in October 2009. Lathi, who had previously headed finance for eBay North America in 2004, is joining One Kings Lane as its first Chief Financial Officer. |

One month after eBay CEO John Donahoe brought in an outsider to head its Marketplaces business, eBay executive Dinesh Lathi left for a new role at retailer One Kings Lane, a home decor flash-sales site. Lathi had headed eBay's "Seller Experience" department and is well known to sellers, as he attended eBay "Town Hall" meetings and top-seller events, and posted many of the announcements that affected sellers on the eBay Announcement Board.
