Zoovy allows each merchant to create accounts and upload their products directly onto Buy.com and Sears.com. Product information can be exported from Zoovy using a product export feature. Zoovy automatically updates inventory, imports orders, sends tracking information, and fulfills orders for the marketplace, thus saving time and resources. The company said overselling is not an issue, since Zoovy software keeps inventory synchronized for all the marketplaces and Web stores its merchants use. "If merchants used Buy.com or Sears.com without connecting through Zoovy, managing products on these marketplaces would be much more difficult," said Brian Horakh, founder and CEO of Zoovy. "This is a do-it-yourself program, but merchants are able to get additional support through our marketing department. It's a winning strategy for our merchants who wish to have a presence on these sites." |
