The "Find Your Friend" feature, announced last month, was received with some controversy due to privacy concerns from people who did not want family, current and former friends and colleagues to know they were registered on Etsy. (The Etsy Bitch blog summed up some of the concerns in this post.) Etsy users with a Google Gmail, Yahoo Mail or AOL Mail account can use the new "Find Your Friends" feature to see who they know on Etsy, and more services will be supported in the future.
