International sellers on the Etsy marketplace are now able to list items and receive payments in their own currency. Last August, Etsy had made it possible to see prices in currencies other than the U.S. dollar, and now sellers can list items and exchange payments in 21 different currencies.

Etsy is using PayPal to power currency conversion and is based on real time exchange rates. Seller will no longer incur exchange rate fees from PayPal for buyers who purchase in the same currency in which they are selling.

Etsy will hold a workshop discussion about Etsy overseas and the pros and cons of currency conversion on November 29 at 12:00 pm ET. More information is available on the Etsy website.
