Etsy launched a new user profile page and redesigned its favorites and feedback pages, the online marketplace announced on Wednesday. In addition to a user's bio and name (if they have chosen to display it), the Etsy profile will feature listings recently added to users' shops, recent favorite items, recent favorite shops, and recent Treasury lists they've created. The changes are live for a small percentage of visitors and will be visible to everyone very soon.

Some sellers did not like the idea that their profile would show favorite listings from other sellers, feeling it would confuse buyers who might think the products were their own. Etsy allows sellers to change their settings so their favorites are private.
