Bonanza (formerly Bonanzle) announced a new promotion in which sellers can participate in theme-based sales called Bonanza Rush. Each Rush is limited to a specific category, takes place at a set-time, and is held in a single location. All sale items in a particular Rush will appear on one dynamic page; by providing a single URL, Bonanza and participating sellers can promote the sale in emails, on the site, and on sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

Bonanza Rush differs from Bonanzas, which were held by sellers in their booths at any time. Bonanza said, "By pooling multiple sellers who have similar merchandize together in a single Rush we can provide great value to our buyers and more focused marketing."

Sellers wishing to participate in a Rush sale can check their "Sell" page and click on the "Sign Up for a Rush" tab. They enter their discount and click "Join," and the site will send a notification once the date and time of the sale has been set.

Bonanza said it would advertise Rush sales selectively through targeted email marketing and social outreach efforts on Facebook and Twitter. More information is available on the announcement on Bonanza's blog.
