PayPal Asia Pacific has launched a co-branded prepaid card in Malaysia with MOL Access Portal Berhad (MOL), a leading payment systems provider in Asia. The "MOL PayPal - The Digital Card" is PayPal's first co-branded prepaid card in the region and allows users to purchase from PayPal merchants worldwide even if they don't have a credit card.

The Digital Card enables consumers to fund their PayPal accounts, which can also be used to buy MOLPoints, MOL's online game payment service. Malaysians will be able to buy The Digital Card in over 1,100 7-Eleven stores nationwide starting on July 19, 2010 or apply for it online. Users can top up the card at more than 15,000 physical outlets in Malaysia or via online banking.
