Etsy's UK Blogger introduced herself on the Etsy "Storque" blog on Monday. Amity called herself an Etsy addict and said she's been a seller since 2006 when she began selling her photography on cards and postcards. "Along with my changing passions, my business has morphed and shifted through several incarnations up until today, which sees me crafting fine silver jewellery most days of the week," she wrote.

She said Matt and Benedikta (Matt Stinchcomb, Vice President of Community) would be blogging for Etsy from Germany, as would Amelie (a.k.a. AmelieFrenchie) in France. Mr. Stinchcomb recently moved to Germany to develop Etsy's European business over the next, opening an office in Berlin.

Amity advised UK sellers to tag all of their items with the tag UK to help her find items to profile, and suggested they indicate their geographical location on their Etsy profiles to show up in Shop Local results.
