eBay.com will create a separate section for Engagement/Wedding/Anniversary Jewelry , will update and add more Item Specifics (product attributes), and will align more with the eBay UK Jewelry structure to increase opportunity for cross-border trade. In August, sellers of Fine Jewelry will need to move their listings into the new Fine Jewelry section and adopt new Item Specifics. |

eBay announced it is making significant changes to the Jewelry categories in August & September and will create a top-level division between Fine Jewelry and Fashion Jewelry. "Fine" jewelry will be defined as precious metals and natural (not lab-created) stones. eBay said it heard from the community that it is currently difficult to sort between higher price-point jewelry pieces and the more fashion-oriented items.
