EcommerceBytes Web Design Challenge - GlamourSurf.com
By Julia Wilkinson
Pamela Fierro began selling on eBay in 2001 and launched Glamoursurf in 2007 selling vintage bathing suits. She built the site herself and does less than $50,000 in annual sales. Pamela wants more visibility in search and better reach, and is hoping she wins the EcommerceBytes Web Design Challenge so she can get a better design flow and navigation as well as a fresh face for Glamoursurf, and she'd like to incorporate the new look on her blog at GlamourSplash.com.

What do you think is the best thing about your website in terms of design?
Ease of navigation for potential customers.
What elements or features of your site's design do you want to change?
I'd like the layout to change, less scrolling and to have pictures that can automatically enlarge when scrolling over them.
What are your main goals in redesigning your site? Please be as specific as possible.
More visibility in search and better reach Better design flow and navigation Fresh face for Glamoursurf Timeless design and layout SEO! Incorporate the look over to my blog GlamourSplash.com
How do you currently market your website, and where does your traffic come from?
Newsletters, facebook, twitter, word of mouth, inbound links from other sites. I don't do any paid for marketing at this time. I also belong to other groups where I have links withing my signature, commenting on other blogs etc.
Tell us why should your site be featured in EcommerceBytes Website Design Challenge?
I started selling on EBAY in 2001, migrated to my own site in 2007. I do have a niche product and would like to have that be an element that sets my site apart. Visibility for all of us, and I think my product would also be fun for the web developers to play and work with.
Is there anything else you would like to mention about why your site should get a design makeover?
I'd just like to say Thank you for offering!
