I am seeing now, when I view my listings in Ebay mobile (Ebay's App) Under shipping price, it's showing - "Ask seller for shipping quote"

I have it set to cost, depending on buyers location (as I do mostly). It shows up ok on all other formats. I have been seeing this for days now. Had I missed seeing it before I wonder? I wanted to drop you this quick news note, and too see if you have been getting any similar reports? Thank you all for your tireless work! Steve

Hi Ina,
I was reading with much interest your recent article on the search and sales fluctuations "rolling blackouts" on sellers Ebay stores. I and many other sellers have been noticing this for some time now, and it's interesting that since your article came out recently, I have not been able to obtain my traffic reports; the service stays in a constant state of "not available, try again later".

It has happened in the past, but this is the longest time I have not been able to access my data.

Can you find out what is going on? Is this just another Ebay "glitch" or do they not want sellers to see what is happening?

Dear Ina,
Next month Ebay is making it almost mandatory that you must use their shipping labels and postage on checkout or it goes against a seller's rating and qualifications for Top Rated Seller status.

I called Ebay today about this and a lot of sellers are complaining............me for one because most items I sell only require a 65 cent stamp for shipping. As I sell a low priced item with Free Shipping, I cannot afford to factor into my selling price a higher postal cost along with deliver confirmation just to satisfy Ebay policies. I would be forced to raise my prices and lose potential future sales.

They told me today that unless Ebay softens their stance on this, a lot of current Top Rated sellers will lose that status!

Just called ebay CS to ask if they made adjustments to arrival times/ tracking upload requirements as today is a HOLIDAY and the Post Office is Closed. CS operator Maria told me yes (conversation # 1-3518553071) that eBay had made the adjustment because of the federal holiday. I called back to make sure and was told NO, no adjustment for the holiday.

This is a PRIME EXAMPLE of the CRAP we sellers deal with with ebay ALL THE TIME. PLEASE ASK JOANNA HOFF ABOUT THIS THE NEXT TIME you speak with her!

Does ANYBODY have a CA:LENDER over there at eBay???

How can we be held to these demanding requirements when we are told incorrect information FROM EBAY?
Thanks Ina.

Dear Ina,
Ebay tells us to "Report members who are not following the rules" and we will act on your reports, well they DO NOT ACT ON REPORTS- THESE ARE JUST WORDS.

I reported a seller who ROUTINELY KEYWORD SPAMS THE TITLES ON ALL OF HIS LISTINGS (see item # (redacted)) and NOTHING GETS PULLED and the auctions go on.

This seller adds keywords that are not allowed in his titles and ebay does NOTHING.

This is why sellers no longer report things- nothing EVER gets done and it is another waste of time. This isn't even mentioning the PAPER CLIP AUCTIONS where folks can buy FB!
Ebay does NOTHING!
Anonymous please Ina.
