By Ina & David Steiner
In January 2012, EcommerceBytes surveyed over 7,200 online sellers and asked them to rate the marketplaces on which they had experience selling. An introduction to the Sellers Choice survey along with a summary of the overall ratings can be found here, along with links to results for each of the 16 online marketplaces included in the survey.

Webstore.com came in tenth overall in this year's EcommerceBytes Seller's Choice Awards, down from number two in 2011. Surprisingly few of the Webstore.com sellers who rated the site left comments.
The site earned its highest marks in ease of use (6.58) and communication (6.1), and its lowest marks in profitability (4.4). It received an overall rating of 5.7.
This compares to last year when Webstore.com received an 8.7 in ease of use, a 7.06 in profitability, and an 8.4 for sellers answering the question, "How likely are you to recommend Webstore.com as a selling venue to a friend or colleague?"
Reader Comments - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly:
WebStore is an excellent place to sell your items. Great customer service and quick to respond and very helpful.
Another 100% free site and I love it. Very easy to use and I would recommend it.
Every internet market place should be this way!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have sold a lot, get a large amount of emails from buyers.
You get what you pay for, it's free, no fees. Rules are okay, I like it.
Too many restrictions and too little support. If you are just looking for a hobby place to sell, this site is a winner. I love the format and I love the idea of it, but for me it didn't add up. I may try it again when they've got some time and experience under their belt.
I did not have much luck selling here and no longer have a store there.
I have items on the site, but doesn't seem that anybody uses it.
Over 400 listings and not 1 sale.
