By Ina Steiner
Do you remember the first item you ever sold online? Let us know by sending an email to email@example.com and we may publish your story. Today we hear from Marion who sold a second-hand sweater and went on to become an expert on eBay - in Germany!
Ina, First of all: I am a great fan of auctionbytes.com! Thank you for many good articles! I just wrote a story about my first item sold on eBay. Maybe you like to publish even a German eBay story. I hope that my English is good enough that everybody understands me :-)
My first item sold: The first item I sold on eBay was a second-hand sweater. This was in 1999. It was an auction, starting at 1 German Mark and I really don't know how often I checked up if there are new bids. At least 100 times. It was really exciting! Later on I have had private contact with my first buyer for a long time.
Three years and many, many auctions later, I wrote the first German Book about eBay and accompanied eBay as a speaker on the eBay Universities.
Today I am Editor of take-me-to-auction.de and teach people how to use ebay in the best way. eBay changed my life and even though I experienced so much with eBay within the years - I'll never forget my first sale on eBay!
