Etsy Hosts Webinar on CPSIA
Etsy is hosting a webinar on the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), legislation that affects sellers of items intended for children. Senior CPSC Officials Jay Howell and Gib Mullan will discuss how the CPSIA is being implemented and enforced, how compliance with the law is possible, what has been stayed and what is in effect, and what the future holds. Barbies for Grownups - Mattel Launches Mad Men Dolls
Mattel will launch Barbie dolls based on characters in the AMC television show, "Mad Men," which will be available to consumers July 2010. Mattel will make between 7,000 to 10,000 copies of each doll (Don and Betty Draper, Roger Sterling and Joan Holloway), which will have a suggested retail price of $74.95 each. The dolls will be sold in specialty stores and on two Web sites, amctv.com and barbiecollector.com - where you can find other new collectible Barbies.
