First Item Sold Online: eBay a Stepping Stone to Artisan's Business
By Ina Steiner
Do you remember the first item you ever sold online? Let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we may publish your story. Today we hear from Nan, who created special mica shades for antique lamp bases, tested them on eBay, and launched a successful business of her own.
Hi Ina !
I'm Nan, sole Proprietor of NYM Arts. I invented My Special Bent Mica Shades for Antique Lamp Bases 5 years ago. I listed a few on eBay to test the market and was Astounded at the over 120 views A DAY they would receive. Explaining that they were Not Antique shades soon became tedious :o)
I started NYM Arts. And I've been bringing Miles of Smiles All Across America ever since!
My Shades have rescued HUNDREDS of lamp bases. One of my shades is in the Library of the President Woodrow Wilson House in Baltimore, MD. Visit nymarts.com to see my Presentation.
BONANZLE is now my "Off - site" Sales Venue of choice.
Thanks and Have a Good Morning,
