New Amazon Repricing Software Works with 3P Listing Tools

Competition is fierce on Amazon.com, and many merchants focus on price as a key part of their strategy to get exposure for their products. Repricing software is one way to automate the process, and Lucid Interactive, the maker of SellerExpress.com, has launched a new Amazon repricing technology called RepricerExpress.com.

The UK-based multichannel software provider has had clients testing the software during its beta stage for some time. RepricerExpress is capable of repricing up to 50,000 listings per hour based on business rules to maintain margins and protect profits, according to Brendan Doherty, Managing Director of Lucid Interactive. And it works seamlessly alongside all other third-party listing tools.

Doherty said the results have been "incredible," with early users reporting significant results. "One client reporting a 300% increase in Amazon sales in the three weeks following implementation," he said of a specialist record store in London called Sister Ray. While support levels to setup and start repricing is minimal, according to Doherty, the RepricerExpress support team walks users through the software to help them set up their initial repricing strategy.

The company's existing ecommerce solution, SellerExpress, allows merchants to manage their inventory, orders and auto repricing across Amazon, eBay, Rakuten's Play and their own ecommerce webstore - it integrates with Bigcommerce, Magento, Volusion and ekmPowershop. RepricerExpress is a standalone product.

Merchants using the repricer can choose to beat the Buy Box or competitors against specific conditions and can set minimum and maximum prices to avoid selling too low or too high - and RepricerExpress takes account of competitors' shipping prices within its advanced calculations. Merchants can also switch between manual and automatic repricing at any time.

RepricerExpress currently supports listings on Amazon UK, US, Germany, France, Canada and Japan and fully supports FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) and Amazon SellerCentral listings. The cost of using RepricerExpress is based on the number of SKUs, ranging from $40/month for 2,500 SKUs to $80/month for 50,000 SKUs.
