Amazon Webstore Offers Unbranded Boxes for FBA Orders

Amazon Webstore, the offering that powers ecommerce websites for online merchants, has launched two new services, according to Amazon.com spokesperson Ty Rogers.

The first new service impacts the Marketplace Shipping Service. Webstore sellers in the U.S. can now purchase shipping at discounted rates through Seller Central for orders that they fulfill themselves. Sellers can pay for shipping and related services, print domestic and international shipping labels, and set a default ships-from address in Seller Central.

And Rogers said Webstore sellers using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) can now choose to ship their products to customers in non-branded blank boxes. They can also choose to brand the packing slip in their FBA shipments by adding a company name, contact information and additional customized text printed on the packing slip.

Amazon Webstore handles all payment processing, allowing sellers to accept credit cards, and it also allows sellers to offer Prime Shipping on their websites.
