eBay Runs Promotion for Fixed-Price Listings, Stores Excluded
By Ina Steiner
eBay is running a promotion for Buy It Now listings. According to an announcement on a page on its site that has yet appear on its Announcement Board, eBay is giving sellers up to 5,000 free listings in the Fixed Price format from August 8 through August 18, 2012.
Sellers will automatically receive the promotional insertion-fee rate when they list items Fixed Price through the Sell Your Item Form, eBay Seller Tools, and most third-party tools.
The promotion applies only to sellers who do not have an eBay Stores subscription, and it excludes 30-day and GTC durations. All existing selling limits (as well as category and item limits) still apply, and may exclude and prevent some sellers from creating the maximum number of listings in the promotion. Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay's minimum seller performance standards are eligible
All other fees apply, see eBay website for details and restrictions.
