Terapeak launched its new developer program that provides access to live eBay data. Terapeak's Public API and Developer Program helps developers create tools for eBay sellers and online merchants. The API and developer resources are powered by Mashery, which helps power 44,000 apps for over 150 top brands.

Using the API, developers can conduct factual analysis, build pricing guides, identify market gaps, decide which merchandising features work best, and help sellers better understand marketplace dynamics based on historical eBay data. It can also help developers who offer consulting and training to online merchants.

Terapeak Developer Programs Director Tyler Black said the company wants to become the premier source for analyzing, understanding and predicting ecommerce consumer and product behavior. "By launching a dedicated Developer Program, Terapeak can provide insights to a world of talent that is hungry for innovation."

The Terapeak Developer Program includes access to its API via a Mashery-made developer portal and API explorer powered by Mashery's I/O Docs. The portal includes a community forum, dedicated resources, as well as access to Terapeak support.

The Terapeak Developer Program is open to all developers to start for free, available at Developer.Terapeak.com.
