eBay's Magento Unit Welcomes 100th Vendor to Partner Program

eBay's Magento ecommerce platform recently added its 100th vendor into its Industry Partner Program, Bazaarvoice, a Software as a Service company that helps brands and retailers leverage social networking.

Magento said its partner program represent a breadth of industries within the ecommerce space and provides merchants with valuable integration and extensions that help them build online stores and grow their businesses.

Citing a research study, Magento said 20% of all ecommerce sites in the Alexa Top 1 Million sites use Magento, more than any other ecommerce platform. More than 100,000 merchants use the Magento platform, and over 5600 extensions are available in the Magento Connect application marketplace.
