With the clock running out for media sellers on eBay, relief is on the way. eBay spokesperson Johnna Hoff confirmed the company would extend its special promotional pricing for listings in the media category beyond June 30th.

The 5-cent listing pricing promotion in the media category was first introduced in 2008 and has been extended numerous times since then. Sellers who use the eBay Catalog when posting Fixed Price listings in Books, Music, Movies & DVDs and Video Games pay insertion fees of 5 cents, and sellers also receive free Subtitles.

Sellers contacted EcommerceBytes this week to find out if the promotion, set to expire at the end of this month, would be extended. Hoff said eBay would extend the promotion and would be sending a more official notification on Monday.
