Proxibid has launched Proxibid Classifieds to enable auction companies and business sellers to sell items directly to buyers. The service allows sellers to bring products to market faster and may also help auction companies attract consignments.

"Buyers and sellers are in need of a safer online format for transacting business directly," said Jason Nielsen, Vice President of Risk and Payments for Proxibid. Sellers on Proxibid are vetted, giving buyers more confidence, according to the company.

Nielsen said, "We know that some other sites are almost overrun with fraudulent listings because they do no vetting of the seller. We are in the business of helping serious sellers meet serious buyers - we just feel that our customers deserve better. We are thrilled to be able to include this value-added service to buyers and sellers across the globe."

Purchasing on Proxibid Classifieds does not require buyers to create an account, and they can interact directly with the seller to complete their transactions.

Pricing for selling through Proxibid Classifieds is available on this page.
