eBay has yet again extended its 5-cent listing promotion in the media category. Sellers will pay insertion fees of 5 cents for Fixed Price listings in Books, Music, Movies & DVDs and Video Games when using Product Details or pre filled item information.

Sellers will also receive free Subtitle on Auction and Fixed Price listings when using Product Details in Books, Music, Movies & DVDs and Video Game categories.

The promotion applies to listings on the U.S. site and applies through December 31, 2011.

eBay first introduced category-specific pricing for media listings in February 2008, lowering the fees in a tiered pricing structure. Later that same year it lowered fixed-price listing fees for Books, Music, DVDs & Movies and Video Games categories to 15 cents and introduced the 5-cent listing promotion, which it continues to extend.
