Tweetalicious Software Serves Up Twitter Shopping Deals
By Ina Steiner
Tweetalicious.com is offering a new service that delivers Twitter-based deals to consumers based on their shopping preferences. The third-party application organizes Twitter content into four areas: Following, Mentions, Direct Messages and Trending Deals. Content in the Trending Deals aisle is based on the "likes" of members globally and allows individuals to see what others are shopping.
Tweetalicious co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Harrison Lee said, "Easily finding deals on Twitter used to be impossible. Now it's as easy as selecting the brands you like, hitting our "Deal Me!" button, then start getting and sharing offers from your favorite brands anytime you want."
The company expects to make an iPhone application available later this year.
