Matthew Weathers led the mobile product team at PayPal and led product strategy for the turnaround of eBay France, which relied heavily on local commerce. Weathers is now Vice President of Product at ShopSavvy and was at the recent Consumer Reports - ShopSmart Summit in New York speaking on a panel about building an online community.

ShopSavvy is a mobile application for iPhone and Android phones that allows a user to scan a barcode to find prices from local and online retailers. AuctionBytes caught up with Weathers to learn more about ShopSavvy and how online sellers can take advantage of mobile shopping trends.
