Shippers can now lock in USPS Priority Mail flat-rate postage rates with the postal service's new "Prepaid Forever Priority Mail Flat Rate packaging" available for online ordering on this page. Forever postage is good for mailing anytime in the future, regardless of price changes. The new service is the only prepaid packaging option currently available in the domestic shipping market, but is only available at full retail pricing.

You can order Prepaid Forever Priority Mail Flat Rate packaging in 3-, 5-, 10- and 25-count packs. A flat rate envelope is $4.95, a small flat rate box is $5.20, two styles of medium flat rate boxes are available for $10.95, and a large flat rate box is available for $14.95. (See USPS website for more details.)

Delivery Confirmation service is included at no cost, and extra services such as Signature Confirmation and insurance are available when accepted at retail locations.

Prepaid Forever Priority Mail Flat Rate packaging may be deposited in mail collection boxes, Automated Postal Center drops, or Postal Service lobby drops (except mail weighing 16 ounces or more sent to and from U.S. territories and possessions; Freely Associated States; and APO/FPO and DPO locations).

The packaging may also be entered at retail Post Office locations or picked up by carriers. Free package pickup also can be scheduled online on the USPS website.
