In 2009, Sears joined Wal-Mart in opening its online marketplace to third-party sellers. Today, Sears executive Imran Jooma will speak about the company's decision to enter the marketplace arena, the evolution of the program and plans for the future of its marketplace.

The Sears Marketplace program allows merchants to advertise or sell products on the Sears Holdings Corporation family of websites.

Jooma is speaking at ChannelAdvisor's Catalyst conference in a keynote entitled, "The Third-Party Seller Marketplace at Sears.com." He will announce that ChannelAdvisor merchant-clients can join the marketplace on a "fully managed basis," with plans to broaden the integration in the future.
