On eBay Motors, 74 percent of vehicles sold in the fourth quarter of 2010 were delivered to out-of-state buyers. uShip said that for its transporters, it's an opportunity to earn business, and for eBay sellers, including auto dealers, additional shipping options would expand the audience of non-local buyers. Dean Jutilla, Director of Marketing Communications for uShip, said the company has 1 million registered shipping customers. In Germany, uShip is already partnered with Mobile.de, eBay's largest European autos site. |
