iPhone developers will gather at PayPal's San Jose offices on April 16-18, 2010, to create and test apps for the Apple iPad. iPadDevCamp is produced by iPhoneDevCamp, a not-for-profit organization that gathers regularly to develop applications for iPhone and iPod touch. The weekend's event format is "unconference" featuring content from the participants themselves, and speakers include Bob Borchers, Chi-Hua Chien, Sean Byrnes and Larry Tesler.

Previous iPhoneDevCamp events were held at Adobe Systems in July 2007 and August 2008, and at Yahoo in 2009.

PayPal will host a session on its new Mobile Payments Library (MEP) for iPhone/iPad by Praveen Alavilli and Fabio Sisinni.

PayPal is also hosting a Hackathon contest at the event and will award a special prize to the app that demonstrates the most innovative integration of PayPal APIs. The PayPal app review team will be onsite reviewing and approving apps using the PayPal Mobile Payments library or the standard Adaptive APIs.
