eBay will launch a new version of the Standard uploader for sellers who use its eBay picture hosting via the Sell Your Item form. It promises faster uploading time as well as the ability to crop and rotate photos in a larger preview area before uploading them. The features were previously available only in the Enhanced uploader.

Sellers must have Flash 10 installed, in which case they will automatically be upgraded to the new version in the next few days. eBay will retire the Enhanced uploader after July 2010.
