eBay Reminds Sellers of Next Week's Changes
By Ina Steiner
Changes eBay announced in April are rolling out next week, it reminded sellers through an announcement board post on Tuesday. Some of the changes impacting sellers include a requirement that they must specify their return policy and handling time in listings (sellers will have until September to update Good 'Til Cancelled listings), and a new dispute process. eBay advised sellers to upload package tracking information on all UPS and USPS shipments; beginning June 15, tracking information will be highlighted for buyers in My eBay. eBay created a "seller checklist" with reminders of new policies and features.
eBay also reminded sellers that the double PowerSeller Final Value fee discounts and free Subtitle with free shipping promotion ends on June 30, 2009.
