eBay initially announced the Expanded Seller Protection program on January 29th and said it would launch in February. The program gives extra protection to eBay PowerSellers (PayPal will no longer require that PowerSellers ship to confirmed addresses for items sold on eBay, there will no longer be an annual $5,000 limit on seller protection for PowerSellers, and coverage will be extended internationally). Editor's Note: Article edited 3/11/08 to show correct program name, "Expanded Seller Protection." |
