eBay reminded users that its free-gallery promotion would end after December 12th. Philipp Justus, eBay's Senior Vice President of Auctions, reminded users to un-check the Gallery option during the relisting process after that date if they wanted to relist without incurring Gallery fees.

The Gallery feature displays a thumbnail photo of sellers' items in search results and normally costs 35 cents per listing. Many were hoping eBay would make the Gallery feature free after the five-week promotion expired.
